At Lindo Mexico, it is our mission to make everyone feel at home through diversity and inclusion in the workplace. We are responsible to ensure all team members feel like family, regardless of their ethnic background, religion, sexual preferences, or gender. Everyone has an opportunity to grow within our community, and we take pride in the great atmosphere our establishments offer. Through our decor and food, you get the opportunity to understand the Mexican culture of Northern Mexico, but because of our team you have the opportunity to feel like family. ​

The following information was gathered in April of 2022. We are currently a team of 104 employees. 

34.40% of our employees identify as male, 65.60% of employees identify as women.

93.80% of employees identify as heterosexuals, 6.30% identify as homosexuals.

43.80% of employees are in a relationship, 46.90% are single, and 9.40% are married.

Single Parents

In a study conducted, it showed that 18.80% of our employees are single parents, and 81.20% are married or currently in a relationship. Our study also showed that single parents are most likely to get to work early and work full-time. 

Students 

A study conducted showed that 34.40% of our employees are students, 28.10% are not students, and 37.5% of our team would like to return to school. We strive to always provide our employees with the necessary time off so they can meet their educational goals, and we always give students priority in scheduling. We recommend our student employees a part-time, but they are more than welcome to work full-time. 

Cultural Backround 

Our study showed that the top ethnic backgrounds of our team members are Mexican, American, and Cuban. 78.10% of our employees identify as Mexican, 9.40% of our employees identify as American, and 6% identify as Cuban.  

AGE 

Our study shows we have great diversity and inclusion when it comes to age. The study showed that 50% of our employees are in the age group of 20 to 30 years old. 28.10% are teenagers, 18.80% are in the age group of 30 to 40 years old. and 3% are over forty years old. 

WHAT WE ARE DOING NOW

Currently, Lindo Mexico LLC is establishing a new program in which we encourage our employees to return to school. Every six months the restaurant gives away a $1,000 scholarship. The requirements are: 

• Must be enrolled at CNM or UNM
• An employee of Lindo Mexico LLC for six months or longer 
• First generation to attend college
